 I wholeheartedly agree. One can see on the horizon several events occurring either simultaneously, or very near each other. They are :
 
 1. The 4 Rs  ....
            a. Revelation of Jesus in the air (at the trumpet sound) 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18
            b. Resurrection (of those who slept in Jesus),
            c. Rapture (of those who are alive in Christ now )  and
            d. Reunion (with our loved ones ) as occurred in Matthew 27:51-53
 
 It appears from 2 Thessalonians 1: 7, 8 that World War 3 ( Ezekiel 38 and 39 ) could take place at that same time. For we see in those verses that we enter into our rest (v 7), but at the same time God sends fiery judgment (v .8).  http://hopetotheend.com/ch3p1.html
 
 THEN ---
             a. Most likely Elijah will be next on the scene, with John the Revelator ( http://hopetotheend.com/wit.html   ) , since they are both clothed in sackcloth.
                They will be witnessing to the world;  a world that God has finally gotten its' attention, through limited nuclear war.
             b. It is conceivable that the 144,000 ( Revelation 7 ) will also be witnessing at the same time.
             c. Their witnessing will thus bring in the Jewish REMNANT of the nation Israel.  Romans Chapters 10 and 11.
 
 Romans 11:12
 "For if the fall of them (Jews of the old covenant ) be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fullness ?
 
 vs. 15 --  " For if the casting away of them ( Jews of the old covenant ) be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them ( Jews today ) be, but
 LIFE FROM THE DEAD." (our Rapture) and their SPIRITUAL RESURRECTION ( Ezekiel 37, Valley of Dry Bones resuscitated ). Thus begins the Jewish REMNANT, which will be hid away by God for 3-1/2 years. (Revelation 12:  13--17 ) .
 
 "And so all Israel shall be saved" Romans 11:26
 Revelation 11: 15--18
 "O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God !
