Thanks for your information on the trumpets. I can add a bit to that.

 

ONE TRUMPET WILL BE BLOWN AT THE FIRST-TRUMP RAPTURE OF I THESS. 4:13-18

 

When one trumpet is blown, the saints wearing white robes will be caught up in the Mid-Trib First-Trump Rapture. Then the elders will be seen sitting on 24 thrones.

 

1Th 4:13-18 says, “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (phthano, precede) them which are asleep. 16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with THE TRUMP of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”

 

Rev. 4:1-4 says, “After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of A TRUMPET talking with me; which said, COME UP HITHER, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. 2  And immediately I was (lit., became) in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one (i.e., Jesus/God) sat on the throne. 3  And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper (last stone in the breastplate) and a sardine stone (first stone in the breastplate, i.e., Jesus is the first and the last): and there was a rainbow round about the throne  (i.e., on Saturn, see Eze. 1:1,26-28), in sight like unto an emerald (i.e., Judah’s stone in the breastplate, because Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Judah). 4  And round about the throne were four and twenty seats (thrones): and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders (12 patriarchs and 12 apostles of Israel, including John) sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.”

 

BOTH TRUMPETS WILL BE BLOWN WHEN THE TRIBULATION SAINTS COME OUT OF THE GREAT TRIBULATION ON THE GREAT AND TERRIBLE DAY OF THE LORD

 

When both trumpets are blown, the saints coming out of the shortened Great Tribulation will be caught up in the Last-Trump Rapture of I Cor. 15:51-54.

 

Num 10:1-4 says, “And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2  Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them (i.e., both) for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps. 3  And when they shall blow with them (plural, i.e., both), all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 4  And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes (i.e., elders), which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee.”

 

1Co 15:51-55 says, “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We (i.e., including Paul) shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55  O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?”

 

THE CALLING TO THE “GENERAL ASSEMBLY” IN HEAVEN

 

Mar 13:27  And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the EARTH to the uttermost part of HEAVEN.

 

The “calling of the assembly” in Num 10:1-4 ties in with “the general assembly and church of the firstborn” of Heb. 12.

 

Heb. 12:22-24 says, “But ye (i.e., the Tribulation saints that washed their robes in the blood of Christ) are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23  To the general assembly and CHURCH OF THE FIRSTBORN, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24  And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”

 

The “church of the firstborn” is caught up first, at Mid-Trib. Then, the saints coming out of the shortened Great Tribulation will be caught up on the Day of God’s Wrath.

 

ON THE DAY OF GOD’S WRATH, THE SAINTS ALREADY IN HEAVEN WILL BE CALLED TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN HEAVEN

 

Mat 24:29-31 says, “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30  And then (tote, at that time) shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then (tote, at that time) shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31  And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of HEAVEN to the other.”

 

AT THE SAME TIME, THE SAINTS COMING OUT OF THE GREAT TRIBULATION ON EARTH WILL BE CALLED TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN HEAVEN

 

Mar 13:27 says,”And then (tote, at that time) shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the EARTH to the uttermost part of HEAVEN.”
