I keep finding people who post on Five Doves who say the Jubilee Year will start on the Day of Atonement. Here is another, and this is also taught in a book: “Only Jesus of Nazareth Can Be Israel ’s Messiah.”“The initiation of the year of Jubilee is critical to the connection with the coming of King Messiah. The Biblical New Year begins on first day of the seventh month. This holiday in the Bible is called the Feast of Trumpets and occurs in September. The Jubilee year should begin at this feast.
“Leviticus 23:24 ‘Speak unto the children of Israel , saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.’
“The Jubilee does not begin on the New Year, but it actually starts 10 days later during the Day of Atonement.”
I don’t think the Jubilee could begin on Tishri 1, first day of the Civil Year, or Tishri 10, the Day of Atonement. The Sacred Year starts on Nisan 1. To me, Nisan 1 is the first day of the Jubilee, Regnal, and Sacred years. I expect the Second Advent on Nisan 1.Lev_25:8-13 says, “And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. In the 49th year, the trumpet announcing the Jubilee should sound on the Day of Atonement to remind the people not to sow their winter wheat, because they could not harvest it after Pentecost (Sivan 6) in the Jubilee Year, which would begin on the Sacred New Year, Nisan 1.The 50th year is both the Jubilee and the 1st year of the new 49-year Jubilee cycle. As for me, I am hoping for the Second Advent on Nisan 1, 5776, Sat. April 9, 2016.
I am hoping for the First-Trump Rapture of I Thess 4:13-18 Mid-Trib on Nisan 13, 5775, Thu. April 2, 2015. That is the anniversary of the Crucifixion, the day that made our Rapture possible. It is also the day the Israelites started to possess their promised land. They crossed the Jordan dry-shod on Nisan 10, then the men were circumcised. They were ready to begin to take possession of their promised land on Nisan 13.
I hope that means that we will be taken to our promised land on Nisan 13.
I think the Last-Trump Rapture of I Cor 15:51-54 will be on the great and terrible Day of the Lord (Rev. 6:17; 7:9-14) that ends the Great Tribulation.
The Great Tribulation is to be shortened.
