I was fascinated by Jean's (Stepnoski) post re the Exodus movie - showing from 12-12. Four days before the start of Hanukkah and 13 days before it ends. Re reading the story of Hanukkah got me excited. It was FAITH that rescued the Maccabees - time and again. Faith and complete trust in the LORD. This has been The Almighty's urgent plea to Israel - time and again. When they trusted him, they flourished. When they doubted, they got hammered. Hanukkah celebrates the miracle of that faith - the miracle of the oil - and the mystery of 'the hidden light'. By FAITH we are saved. We have placed our faith, love and trust in our beloved LORD Jesus Christ. The Maccabees - against all the odds, took back Jerusalem. It's an interesting theme considering what controversy surrounds Jerusalem today. Surrounded by 'baying for blood' muslim fanatics. Pressured by EU, USA........the whole world, to divide their land. The Middle East is on the brink of all out war. This scenario is not a matter of years - it is teetering on the edge. Added to this is the disgusting sight of satanic displays being allowed this Christmas season, in America. Surely, it is time for us to leave?

I had a rapture dream a few nights ago. This is very rare for me. I was in a huge shopping complex. There were crates and crates of goods piled up (a consumer's paradise) millions of toys. Something strange was happening in the sky (it was dusk/ twilight)lights and meteors. Then 2 people appeared in the sky. A man and a woman. They were American - I could tell this by their dress. He was dressed pretty much in the style of Abe Lincoln and she had a bonnet on and long dress (like the early settlers dressed) She smiled down and waved at me. I shouted out, "Is the rapture happening soon". He smiled and nodded his head. "Is it tonight?", I yelled. He laughed and wagged his finger side to side. In other words, he wasn't allowed to tell me. I am hoping the toys and goods - huge shopping complex etc., denoted this was Christmas time!
