Jim, re your most recent post on Newton.........the above link is a site I have been following for about 18 months. They are a married couple, and have prophetic words quite frequently.
 
The lady says God has told her to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord until that date of September 23, 2015, the Day of Atonement 2015.  The site is called God's Healer 7. They also have a FB page.
 
In fact she mentioned it at the close of most every word she or her husband have. They seem very level headed, and non-controversial, even humble.
 
I remembered that date after I read your post today re Newton.
 
I believe Newton also tagged 2034 ad as the date of the cross. Some ''experts'' say ''well, he was just wrong''...........but......here is what I have come up with in my studies..........a way of locating the day and year of the cross.
 
it is something most all have ''missed''.
 
Nisan 17 is 'the' day Noah's Ark RESTED on mt aarat. Nisan 17 has also other prophetic significances.........would have to look them up.......if u have Grant Jeffries book on all those dates, he lists several in there.
 
So I believe( have a 'knowing') that Nisan 17 was the day of the Resurrection providing a REST for God's people. Noah's ark RESTED on Nisan 17.
 
Now we know from the gospels that the resurrection day was on Sunday. So we just count back.......sunday was nisan 17, sat was nisan 16, Friday was nisan 15....a high day Sabbath, and that puts Nisan 14 the day of the cross on Thursday.
 
Of all the possible years from 30 ad to 35 ad, the ONLY year that has Nisan 14 on a Thursday 34 AD............The year Newton said was the year of the cross.
 
I don't think ''less intellectually'' capable folks should so easily discount what Newton calculated.
 
34 ad also fits in with the current calendar with Jesus being born in the Fall of 1bc and the next year, starting in Jan was 1 ad. Dionysius set these dates.......and he had access to the Temple birth records b4 they were destroyed.
 
Jesus would have been age 30 in the fall of 30 AD. from there going forward 3.5 years brings you to to Nisan 14, of 34 ad, when Nisan 14 was on a Thursday. I just know nisan 17 was the day of the resurrection and since we also know it was on sunday, that puts the cross on Thursday in 34 ad......the year Newton calculated.
