The  " G O O D   P E R S O N "

        We all know this guy, (or gal) They're probably a good friend or even
a relative.  When we bring up the question of JESUS in conservation or
in direct witnessing, we get pretty much the same universal response.
"I'm a good person and GOD knows it.  I'll leave it up to HIM cause compared
to a lot of people I know, I'll be in the top 10% for sure so I'm not worried."
What do we say then to this person? We know that GOD doesn't "grade on
a curve" but they don't.  Then we have the church goer who believes very
strongly in JESUS and HIS MESSAGE, but when these types are asked
about when they would like to see HIM return, they imply towards the end
of their life because their life is good and they're not wanting it to change.
Are people who are not anxious for HIS  RETURN going to be RAPTURED?
This is a really hotly debated subject....not for me though!  I HAVE to come
down on the side of NO, they won't be.  Why? Because they don't LOVE
HIM ENOUGH!  When you KNOW HIM and LOVE HIM with ALL YOUR
HEART, you can't wait for HIM to come for you. (like ANY bride who is
in love with her betrothed)  I know, speaking for myself as a guy, I would
not be impressed with a "fiancé" that was not totally consumed in her heart
for me and to our joining that it would be FOREMOST to her.  JESUS has
the same feelings for HIS BRIDE...HE TELLS US THIS IN SCRIPTURE.
That we must " Love HIM MORE THAN LIFE ITSELF".  Why? Because
HE IS life itself!  The FOREVER LIFE , the only LIFE that matters.  The
PERMANENT ONE!  We are given examples of people not watching for
and anxious for HIS COMING for HIS BRIDE.  They are obviously NOT
the  BRIDE that LOVES HIM UNTO DEATH.  They didn't take care to
be ready constantly for HIS COMING for them.  Why weren't they? They
didn't LOVE HIM ENOUGH.  Will there be consequences for their lack of
TOTAL LOVE FORHIM? Yes! There will be, HE SAID SO!  This lack of
love is reflected by their lack of preparedness.  Not enough OIL in their
lamps to be SURE to have ALL the LIGHT required. (and then some, if it
were up to me)  Watching for HIS  RETURN to snatch away HIS READY
BRIDE (who's constant watching and spiritual preparedness is the result
of their KNOWING and LOVING HIM to the point of OBEYING HIM by
being EVER WATCHFUL and in CONTACT with the HOLY SPIRIT)
      These will be the ones going in the RAPTURE, not the folks who think
they're "good people" and GOD knows  that they are and they will tell HIM
that at JUDGEMENT.  Likewise the "regular church goer".  He's not
watching because he really doesn't want CHRIST to return anytime soon
as life is good and there's lots of stuff they haven't done yet. I don't think
JESUS is going to have much trouble sorting out the Sheep and the Goats,
do you? Will HE be sad?  In HIS HEART? YES!  but sort them HE WILL.
Which one are you? Do you LOVE HIM ENOUGH to do as HE ASKS and
be WATCHING and PREPARED? Is your HOUSE IN ORDER ?
HE is now EVER SO CLOSE...........let's be ready.
