Hi John and fellow Doves,


I’ve always been so encouraged by this site, and I know there are a lot of prayer warriors on here so I’d like to ask you to please join me in prayer for these 2 people.

Amy – she was rushed into emergency surgery a couple of days ago and discovered that she had a cancerous mass in her colon.  The surgery was successful in removing the blockage but it sounds like she is going to have a long road ahead of her for cancer treatments.

Carlene – this past summer, she was given only 6 months to live and now it looks like that time is approaching very quickly.  I don’t know any more details than that at this time.

Both of these people mentioned above are family members of some of my coworkers so I don’t know them very well personally.  However, I do know that God knows them and He can heal anyone at any time according to His will.   As an example, approximately 5 years ago, my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 non-hodgkin’s lymphoma.  God healed her and she has been in full remission for the past 2 years!!!  Praise God!!  

Anyway, please join me in asking for God’s healing, peace, and comfort during this difficult time for these 2 families.   I do know that Amy is a believer, but I don’t know if Carlene is or not.  If she isn’t, I also ask that you please pray that she will come to a saving faith in our Lord Christ Jesus.
