Dear John Tng and Doves,

A few nights ago, I was praying and meditating on Psalm 116.  I was just about to turn my lamp off, but was troubled to the point that I had to make this sketch before I could sleep. I drew quickly about 2 minutes.  The details came as I sketched.  Then it occured to me, that Psalm 116, beginning at verse 13, is a prayer. I believe it is very possibly the prayer of someone facing the guillotine.  It is so beautiful and peaceful. 

" I will take the cup of Salvation and call upon the name of the Lord. I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.  Oh Lord, truly I am thy servant and the son of thine handmaid.  Thou hast loosed my bonds ( death ). I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord. I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people. In the courts of the Lord's house ( heaven ) in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the Lord ".

I also feel that because this is Psalm 116, it may well be in 2016.
