Do you believe God sometimes sends messages through the secular media?
I do. Here's an example:
This morning I got up thinking about the rapture. It seems so imminent. My morning routine is to go out and retrieve the morning newspaper. I usually pick it up and glance at the front page before I go back in the house.
This morning, I glanced at it and the huge, bold headlines across the front page screamed:
LAST CHRISTMASThat was the major message to millions of people this morning from one of the largest newspapers in the U.S. Was that timely or what?
Of course, the newspaper was not knowingly referring to the rapture but to a local mall closing. But I believe God had a different idea.
