"RE: Nicole: 12.13.13: birth & born again"

Nicole,

You had done a very good job of refuting the false doctrines of Karma & reincarnation.

You also clearly showed how one must repent and believe on Jesus, without trusting our works, to be saved.

Like always, I enjoy your letters a lot, and look forward to read each and every one that you write.

There were also a couple other things that you had written. in this letter, that I had wanted to comment on.

You wrote:

You are his baby and you stay within God until it is your time to come to Earth. When it is your time,

you are like an egg (your soul) being released from God the Father. You must come to Earth to get a

spirit upon conception. A guardian angel sends the soul to the womb upon conception to the womb of a

mother. The soul is united with the body and the spirit is created by the Holy Spirit.

Some people believe that life begins only at birth, with the first breath.

They say that this is how Adam got his life & how everyone else after, gets their life also.

However, Adam wasn’t born, he was created.

All his descendants are born, not created.

Because of Adam’s sin, we are all born spiritually dead:

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

We who were born dead, but believed on Jesus, were quickened while still in our mortal bodies:

Ephesians 2: 1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

If spirits were to come from heaven,

.       at the moment someone is born & breathes their first breath,

.       or even at the moment of conception,

.       there would be a problem.

Because in that case we would all be born innocent, and not with Adam’s original sin.

Also, the LORD wouldn’t have a bunch of dead spirits up in heaven, waiting to enter a newly born, or conceived, person.

And according to Hebrews, Levi wasn’t waiting up in heaven, for Leah to bring forth her third born, but rather:

Hebrews 7:9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.

10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.

Also you had written:

They die and then go to Heaven, and this represents the baby being born into Heaven.

So ultimately your death date becomes your spiritual birth date.

            …

and that your spirit on this Earth is redeemed and developed so that you can be birthed spiritually back to Heaven.

We were born again, begotten through the gospel, when we believed, not when we die:

I Corinthians 4:15 For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

Onesimus was born again, begotten while he was still alive:

Philemon 10 I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:

Peter wrote that he, and the readers of his epistle, were already born again, begotten again, while still alive, not when they died:

I Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Peter, again, speaking of himself and the readers of his epistle, were already born again:

I Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Born again when we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, not when we die:

I John 5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

Clearly referring to those born again, that were still alive:

I John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

Born again when we receive Jesus by faith, not when we die:

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Clearly, born again, before we die, not when we die:

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Paul was clearly born again before he wrote I Corinthians:

I Corinthians 15:8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

James refers to himself, and to the readers of his epistle, as already begotten again:

James 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Peter writes to believers, still living on the earth, as newborn babes:

I Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

John refers to living believers as already born again:

I John 2:29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

I John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

I John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

You had also written:

It is because the Holy Spirit and Jesus were setting a precedent that one's spirit must be corrected by the Holy Spirit to be born again.

When we’re born again, the LORD doesn’t correct our spirit, but creates something new in us.

When we are born again, there is a newly created spirit:

II Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

A newly created spirit:

Galatians 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

And that is the new man, that newly created spirit:

Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

I didn’t write these things to dispute with you, as based on all your other letters, I think that we pretty much believe a lot alike.

It is, rather, for some new believer, reading this latest one, in case they may have taken some things a little differently.

Thank you,

            Gino
