"reason for Marrs, Graham post was to make aware of distortion"

What I was hoping for was someone who remembered a previous difficulty with what Texe Marrs. There  was something shared here many years ago

But the main reason was related to my previous post re National Enquire type Christian information as relayed by Conatance Cumby's experience with Texe Marrs, her and others like the author of the King James Controversy have had similar go arounds

The problem we have is the amount of sources of information we share.
Some of them are not so good, even pseudo Christian and sensationalistic
For example the link I shared re the strange claims against Graham by Marrs. We need to check our sources before we go spreading around false information.

What should have happened is the person who spread this information should have done is contact someone from the Billy Graham organization.
That is what you are suppose to do when you here an accusation, go to
the brother like Sue shared

" I wrote to Franklin Graham's Samaritan Purse to verify this. It's not true. I do not have permission to post the email address carte blanche but if anyone wants to write to the person I've been communicating with, I have permission to give you his email on a one to one basis. My email: marsucrook@hotmail.com. Thanks and God bless. Sue C"

I would also like to share that there is a video that is similar to that.
Remember, taking things out of context is something the news media loves to do when they want to make some one look evil.
We as Christians would call that slander.
