"DON'T BE DECEIVED BY THE MIRACLES OF THE BEAST INTO WORSHIPPING THE BEAST'S IMAGE"

In speaking about the son of perdition, the man of sin (Antichrist), he is going to do signs and lying wonders according to 2 Thess. 2:9-12, and those who are deceived believe a lie, are damned, and had pleasure in unrighteousness.  Please read the following verses:

2 Thess.  2:9-12, "Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders.  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

In speaking about the first beast, Rev. 13:8 says, " And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."

In speaking about the second beast Rev. 13:12 says, "And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.  And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.  And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them, that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.  And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.  And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or their foreheads:  And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.  Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."

In previous posts at fivedoves.com there has been concern about Christians being deceived into taking the mark of the beast not knowing it was the mark of the beast until a later date; and at that point, they should remove it by cutting off their right hand, or their forehead. I personally don't think it's going to happen that way unless it's a Christian who calls himself a Christian (in name only), but doesn't read the Bible.   First of all, the second beast has to produce miracles and lying wonders to deceive them that dwell on earth because Rev. 13:14 says, "And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them, that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live."   My opinion is that people will worship the beast and the image of the beast because they are deceived by the miracles into believing that the beast is God or Christ that is doing the miracles and lying wonders when he is not.

Worshipping the beast and his image would be breaking the first two commandments which are found in Exodus 20:3-5, "Thou shall have no other gods before me.  Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in the heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.  Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them:  for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;"

Rev. 14:9-13 also tells us, "If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive  his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:  And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up fore ever and ever; and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.  And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them."

A person would have to be deceived by the miracles into believing that he should worship the beast and his image.  So a Christian should be paying attention to the above Bible verses which I just quoted.  Also if they study their Bible, they should know that Jesus Christ does not return until the end of the great tribulation period according to Rev. 19:11-21, and Zechariah 14:1-15.  Also Matthew 24:15 tells us about the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place, and the great tribulation then taking place.  Jesus specifically says, in Matthew 24:23, "Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders: insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.  Behold, I have told you before.  Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chamber; believe it not."  Then Jesus goes on to say in Matthew 24:29-30, "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."  Christ is not going to be on earth in person during the great tribulation period for Christians or mankind to worship, and a Christian should know better than to worship the beast and his image during the great tribulation.  These Christians who refuse to worship the image of the beast will be killed.  Please remember that it is the second beast that has the people killed for not worshipping the image of the beast and it is the second beast who causeth all to take the mark of the beast in the right forehead or in the forehead according to Rev. 13:15-17,  "And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

The Bible certainly leaves a Christian (and any other person that wants to read it) enough information not to worship the beast and his image and not to take his mark in the forehead or in the right hand.  So when the first beast and second beast start producing miracles and an image of the beast is created, that's the beast and his image that you shouldn't be worshipping nor taking his mark in the forehead or in the right hand because God, the Father and Jesus Christ are only worthy of our worship.  Since it is the second beast that causeth all to receive the mark in their right hand or their forehead, how could a Christian be deceived into taking the mark of the beast without him knowing it was the mark of the beast?  If you don't worship the image of the beast, you are killed and won't have the mark of the beast because Rev. 15:2 says, "And I saw a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having the harps of God."  However, if you worship the beast, you will have the mark of the beast in the forehead or in the right hand, and will be able to buy and sell.  So there is no excuse for a Christian worshipping the image of the beast and taking his mark in the forehead or in the right hand just like there is no excuse for not reading the Bible.

Anyone on earth during the great tribulation period should be on the look out for the first beast and second beast on earth doing miracles, the image of the beast being made, worship of the image of the beast taking place, and the mark of the beast being implemented in order to buy and sell.  Mankind won't be worshipping and taking the mark of any old man; it is the miracles and lying wonders that deceive them.
