“From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days” Daniel 12:11

 

WATCHERS: Playing with day counts over the weekend, I discovered that the period from 4-2-2013 (the day after Passover) to 10-12-2016 (the last day of Yom Kippur) equals 1290 days. I’m also reminded that the eight-day Hanukkah period we’re in now, celebrates the rededication of the Temple (after it was defiled in 175 BCE by Antiochus IV Epiphanes), and it points to a future event described by the prophet Daniel (above). As such, consider the dating schema below, and let’s contemplate rededicating ourselves, as temples of the Holy Spirit. Maranatha

- If Christ returns within 100-years of the Balfour Declaration, consider 1917-2017

- If Christ returns within 70-years of UN declared statehood of Israel, consider 1947-2017

- If Israel's enemies can be pacified in our current 50-year Jubilee period, consider 1966-2016

- If a 42-mo. great tribulation precedes the end of world history, consider 4/2/2013-10/12/2016

- If you hold to a pre-tribulation rapture of the elect, consider the time between now and 4/2/2013
