South Africa Protests – Israeli envoy Summoned over plan for new homes on occupied West Bank

 

South African government had summoned the Israeli ambassador yesterday to lodge its concerns about Israel’s decision to build 3000 new settler homes on the occupied West Bank.  Deputy International Relations and Cooperation Minister Ebrahim Ebrahim said in Pretoria

 

Britain and France have registered similar protests with Israel.  The minister said “if these settlements continue…a Palestinian State becomes less possible”

 

This news item was carried in the Business day newspaper today.

 

I am saddened that our government has decided to fight against Jehovah God Almighty by coming against Israel.  South Africa was also one of the 138 nations that voted for a Palestinian state and agreeing to the division of Jerusalem.  Shall we escape when the Lord unleashes His fury on the nations that voted for this?
