Blessings...and when things get
tough, just start praising and thanking God out
loud. He is faithful and He is good!
Hi Danny. While reading your post, I didn't feel led to talk about unforgiveness, but instead to give you five little words about our Savior: "Jesus is your burden bearer." Whatever hurts you have or anger or confusion or problems with unforgiveness, anything and everything, you are to give these to Jesus. Amazingly, the God of creation wants to be our "burden bearer." It says so in His Word and that you can take to the bank:
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28).
Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 1:7).
Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you (Psalm 55:22).
Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears out burdens (Psalms 68:19).
Don't let your hearts be troubled...trust in God (lst John 14:1).
Even to your old age I am He, to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save (Is. 46:4).
So how do we do that? Simply by prayer...by talking to Him throughout the day and getting into His Word. He is your best friend who will never betray you as well as the Good Father who will never hurt you. And He loves you very much and wants only the best for you. How do you know? Because He said so...and God is "not a man that He should lie" (Numbers 23:19)!
A family member would often say: "God helps those who help themselves." I would reply,"...that's not in the Bible." Instead the Bible declares throughout that God helps those who can't help themselves.Blessings...and when things get tough, just start praising and thanking God out loud. He is faithful and He is good!
