In the waning hours of December 16 I sent a wonderful picture of a glorious rose cross galaxy formed in the heavens--so beautiful that I sent it to everyone on my mailing list.
But before this got to Five Doves, December l6 became December 17, and so a different picture appeared on the Five Doves Site today.  This too is a beautiful scene but
not so significant as the lovely brilliant rose-colored galaxy.  Perhaps you can access December 16th "Astronomy Picture of the Day".  I have this site as my screen saver, and each day a new picture of the heavens appears, some not so beautiful as just interesting, some glorious like the rose-cross galaxy.  We need beauty in these times of darkness!
