"To Frank, observation
on Nicole Poon's drawing of November 23"
You forwarded a picture from Nicole showing a tower which looked
like the Space Needle in Seattle. Even the surrounding
road and buildings were similar to the configuration of the
Space Needle neighborhood, which I have visited hundreds of
times since the Needle was built.fifty years ago. Nicole
does not identify the tower, says the vision was irrelevant to
her prayer preceding the vision, but nevertheless draws her
vision because the Lord gave it.
Seems it could show destruction of the Space Needle. Makes
me wonder about the Needle. It looks like an object very
fragile to earthquake destruction, but it was undoubtedly built
with very high earthquake resistant standards. However, it
will go down if the Lord says so, by whatever means.
I always disliked the Space Needle, as it seemed to have no
architectural beauty. It looks garish against the skyline
of Seattle, yet it has become an easily recognized symbol of the
city all over the world, so it does have that merit:
Anyone can say "Seattle" when they see it.
When I was young, Seattle was a lovely small city, a place where
people of different races got along easily, where various
branches of the Judeo-Christian world also harmonized, and its
natural beauty was great, even if the architecture of "downtown"
(around the Space Needle) was a hodge podge. It was a
comfortable place for human beings. Now it has grown too
fast and has become a symbol of high tech and destruction of
easy human dwelling with nature. Now it is a hub of
traffic snarls and commuter anguish. And also a symbol of
moral relativism. Now it will go down? I left there,
as you did, but it was "home," especially in those years before
they built that Needle.
Thanks for forwarding Nicole's drawings.
I'm praying for you, Frank, that the coming storm may not be too
hard on you, that the rapture may receive you into Heaven soon.
