"He Comes! He Comes!"

I believe He gave me this song not just for us waiting for the rapture to not get discouraged because he TRULY is at the door, but some of the words are also for people who are left behind and become saints during the Great Tribulation.

He Comes! He Comes!

What can I say? What can I say?

If darkness overshadows me?

And rainbows are not what they seem?

If storms are murky in the night?

And stars of heaven lose their light?

Then I look up, lift up my head,

Remembering the words HE said;

Be not afraid, nor filled with dread,

But filled with joy and hope instead!

For Jesus’ footsteps, they are near,

The trumpet sound is in the air,

He comes! He comes on wings of light!

To split apart the Eastern sky,

To take his saints to reign with him,

And bring his kingdom – free from sin;

He comes! He comes in darkest night,

To bring at last his world of light,

Where no one else will ever be-

Deprived of life, and joy, and peace!

Where children play, safe and carefree-

And all the world will worship thee!

And no one else will ever die,

When Jesus comes to reign on high;

He comes! He comes in majesty,

To open doors and set men free;

To banish death and tears and pain,

And rid the world of sin’s dark stain;

He comes! He comes with many clouds,

To lift the poor and ban the proud!

To still the roaring of the seas,

And vanquish all his enemies!

He comes! He comes at last to bring,

And end to war and suffering

He comes! He comes so valiantly,

To turn the darkness into day,

To rid the world of death and strife,

And raise the dead ones back to life;

To rule and reign from sea to sea,

He comes! He comes so gallantly,

The Prince of Peace for all to see-

And best of all! He comes for me!
