I heard one news commentator on FOX a few nights ago mention the fact that much of the deadly gas that Syria is loading up is most likely part of the stockpile that Sadam Hussein had shipped into Syria right before the U.S. invaded IRAQ - you know? The WMD's that everyone said Pres Bush LIED about? Uh-huh - Sadam had them alright! And had he been given a chance, HE would have used them first!  I too believe that Assad's true TARGET is Israel. IF he hit Israel, then he would be the muslim world's HERO!
