The Word tells us that on the very Day the Lord was born a multitude of the heavenly host sang,

 

"Glory to God in the highest,

And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!"[Luke 2:14]

 

 

By acknowledging Jesus Christ as our Lord and God we receive His peace and goodwill, by the power of His Holy Spirit.

 

Being at peace with one another and having goodwill towards all men is the evidence that we are the Bride of Christ.

 

"Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in PEACE, without spot and blameless."[2Pet.3:13,14]

 

"He who would love life and see good days...Let him seek PEACE and pursue it."[1Pet.3:10,11]

 

"Let the PEACE of God rule in your heart..." [Col.3:15]

 

"Pursue PEACE with all people..."[Heb.12:14]

 

Goodwill or good intent keep our hearts SAFE from Satanic influences!

 

Judas Iscariot rejected Jesus as His Lord.

 

For this reason his heart was no longer kept safe from Satan's power!

 

"Now after the piece of bread, Satan entered him."[John 13:27]  

 

When a person is continually filled with good intentions,as a direct result of believing in the Lord, Satan cannot use him to do wicked things to others. 

 

"...It is God who works in you both to WILL and DO for His good pleasure.[Phil.2:13]

 

Christmas, a Day to remember that God was born a man in order to bless the human race with His peace and goodwill, should ONLY be celebrated by those who actually HAVE His peace and goodwill in them.

 

That is the Bride of Christ!

 

Anyone else that partakes in the celebration "eats and drinks judgement to himself[1Cor.11:29]" just as in the Lord's Supper!

 

I believe the Lord revealed to Paul that the Rapture will occur on Christmas Day!

 

A Day billions of Christians don't really believe in the One who's birthday they are celebrating!

 

This is why Paul said,

 

"For when they say, "Peace and safety[that is, safety from Satan's influence on the will]!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labour pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.

 

"But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this [Christmas?] Day should overtake you as a thief." [1Thess.5,3,4]
