I am right there with you brother, I remember those days and the excitement of watching the EU thinking the 10 nations of prophecy was lining up._____________________________

However the mistake I think we made was not so much in missing a scripture in the Bible telling us not to watch or pay attention to this development- however perhaps our focus should have always been more on Israel than the EU.__________________________________

What makes our day different? In the 80s we had one isolated prophecy of the 10 nations to consider - today we have so much more happening! The seals are about to be opened!
It is undisputable that seal 1 the arrival of the antichrist has either happened and is yet not clearly revealed, or is shortly to occur.________________________

Seal 2 - world war 3, Seal 3 economic collapse bringing famine, Seal 4 widespread death& famine are at the doors and Seal 5 widespread Christian martyrdom and seal 6 cosmic disturbances are also waiting in the wings and will shortly come to pass.___________________________

As a fellow LONG TIME watcher who remembers the events in the 70s, 80s and 90s just as you described, I think we were looking through a glass dimly in those days, and these days more and more is being revealed and our knowledge is increasing.  Keep looking up, surely our redemption draws nigh!__________________________
