"Wow, Marilyn Agee, Michelle K, the Geminids and the Jews Appear in the Holyland of  Israel"

Hi Marilyn, Michelle and All Doves,

"The appearance of this meteor shower seems to have been fairly sudden during the 1860s. It was first noted in 1862, when R. P. Greg (Manchester, England) found a radiant in the constellation Gemini for the period of December 10-12. B. V. Marsh and A. C. Twining (United States) independently discovered the activity around the same time. A. S. Herschel noted meteors emanating from Gemini during December 12/13, 1863, as well as three fireballs from near the same radiant in 1863 and 1864. During the 1870s, observations of the Geminids became more numerous as astronomers realized a new annual shower was active.

"The first estimate of the strength of the Geminids came in 1877, when the hourly rate was given as about 14. The same rate was also given by observers in England during 1892, but it was noted that almost twice as many bright meteors were present than had been seen in 1877. In 1896, English observers gave hourly rates near 23 and also observed "a number of bright pale green meteors...."

-the principal color of islam is pale green, there's the appearance of the pale green horse

Towards the end of the Ottoman era in Palestine, native Jewish communities lived primarily in the four 'holy cities' ofSafedTiberiasHebron and Jerusalem. The Jewish population consisted of Ashkenazim (Judeo-German speakers) and Sephardim, the latter of which could be further subdivided as Sephardim proper (Judeo-Spanish speakers) and Moghrabim (Arabic speakers). By 1862, the majority of Jews in the four holy cities, with the exception of Jerusalem, were Arabicand Judaeo-Spanish speakers. The dominant language among Jews in Jerusalem was Yiddish, due to the large migration of pious Ashkenazi Jews from Russia and Eastern Europe. Still, in 1877 there were 7,620 Sephardim counted in Jerusalem, of whom 1,290 were Moghrabim, from the Maghreb or North Africa. Natives of the city, they were Turkish subjects, and fluent in Arabic. Arabic also served as the lingua franca between the Sephradim/Moghrabim and Ashkenazim and their non-Jewish Arab counterparts in mixed cities like Safed and Hebron.

There are several processes going on here, which includes the birth of modern Israel, the rise of radical stateless islam and the coming end times focused upon Chanukah
