My Dear Friends In Christ:

It is with a very heavy heart that I write to you tonight.

  

This past week I was so saddened by a sign in Times Square.  It is quite large.  At the top is a photo of Santa smiling, and written above his head is, KEEP THE MERRY. Just beneath Santa is a photo of the face of our Beloved Jesus while on the cross. Under that photo it is written, GET RID OF THE MYTH.  It is put there by the atheist society. I pray, Jesus I am so sorry this has been allowed to happen after all you did for us.

Today, a twenty year old man went into an elementary school in Connecticut and shot twenty children and six adults.  Tonight those little bodies lay on a classroom floor because they need to not disturb the crime scene.  As a parent you can feel how awful it would be had that been our children.  To go home knowing that their child lay on the floor of a classroom murdered.  SURELY SATAN IS ALIVE AND WELL!

Tonight there are Christmas parties.  I cannot go.  There is one candle lit in my window and I pray for God's grace to be on all of us.  But, when I told people what had happened today they said " Wow! that is so awful. Where is that party tonight, and what are you wearing? "  Apathy, is one of the 18 signs listed in 2Timothy.  This coldness is worse than apathy.

 

I have lost count of the number of shootings in the last year.  Each one has been worse than the one before it. I want so much to go home and be with Jesus. I know we all do, and it is very painful to wait. 

 

Thank you John for the opportunity to talk with all of you.  I will bet not one of you would be going to a party tonight either.   I must end here as I am starting to cry again.
