"Winter Storm "Draco""
Hi
Doves -
This
might be just
me, but the name of this latest severe winter storm that hit
the Midwest yesterday evening - "DRACO" just
doesn't sit right
with me. Draco is the Latin name for
"Dragon". The traditional name of Alpha Draconis,
Thuban, means "head of the serpent". And also, Draco Lucius
Malfoy is a fictional character and a major antagonist in J. K.
Rowling's Harry Potter series.
Of
all names they could have selected to represent this
storm, why Draco? Does anyone have any further
insight into this "coincidence"?
Grace
& Peace,
~Lynn~
