"David......Are we ready?.......not really"

David,              http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/dec2012/david1214.htm

I understand and appreciate what you are trying to say in your post but........

Are we 100% ready for His return? Yes....but.....

I don't believe that I am that much different from the average born again Christian out there or the average Dove that reads this site. That being said,  I don't  believe 1 out of 10 of us is ready. We are spiritually ready.... but.... we are scared to death for our family and friends believing that many of them are not ready and will be left behind.

If we are whisked away tomorrow in the great resurrection and a number of our loved ones are left behind........ can we really enjoy that great party in the heavenlies knowing that our loved ones are facing a time much more horrific than any sci-fi horror film ever made and will probably die a very violent death.  Kind of like if your children were just involved in a terrible automobile accident and were critical in a hospital and you had won an all expenses paid cruise to the Caribbean. You could be ready to go on the cruise and you could go.....but.... if you did, would you enjoy it.

I am sure you get the drift of what I am trying to say.....it's not as easy as ready or not ready.

The obviously question becomes........"Is God going to alter our memory of our loved ones (make us forget them) so that he doesn't have millions of sad and mopey people at The Marriage Supper of the Lamb?

If any wise Doves out there foresee a remedy for this perceived condition please share the cure with me because this scenario may well be staring most of us in the face real soon.
