I apologize for making a typo in my response to Mary Haas. I typed different, and it should have read difference. I am actually saying that there is a difference between Israel and the Body of Christ. In his earthly ministry the Lord offered Israel their King. He only ministered to two gentiles in his earthly ministry. One the Mother looking for scraps off the Master's table, and the other by proxy when the servant approached for the Centurion's Son. The reason I mention the gentiles is because, he came only to the whole house of Israel with these two exceptions in scripture. He makes it clear in scripture that he was there in his earthly ministry making an offer to be their King. For the Nation of Israel to have the Kingdom, they had to have their King. When they rejected their King, he makes it clear to Paul in one of the "Mysteries" that he has "Blinded Israel" (Set them aside temporarily) for their Unbelief, and called Paul to be the Apostle to the Gentiles. Without a doubt to answer your question "It is All Grace", but at different times he has administered it differently. Paul mentions three or four times in scripture "Dispensations". I am not a scholar so they can debate the different time periods of dispensations. Let me see if I can be a little more clear, without a doubt there is a difference between what Paul was taught by the Risen Lord on the back side of the desert for three years, and what had been revealed prior to Paul. Paul declared his Gospel, "kept secret for long ages past, but now is manifested". Paul makes it clear several times in scripture that it is "My Gospel". His message was the Gospel of the Grace of God in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. Believe I Corinthians 15:1-4, and you are saved. Unique in that it is a calling out of Jews and Gentiles (mostly Gentiles during this time period) to form a New Creation (The Body of Christ) during this dispensation. After the catching away of the Body of Christ, which was also a mystery revealed only to Paul. I believe that the final seven years of the 490 year curse the Lord placed on Israel will be fulfilled (Daniel 9:24-27). There will be countless Souls won to Christ during the Tribulation period, but the message during this time period is that it reverts back to the same message preached by John the Baptist and the Twelve. The Gospel of the Kingdom, prepare for the King is Coming. Don't take the mark, don't love yourself to death. That is why countless Souls come out of the Tribulation willing to die rather than bow the knee to Anti-Christ. Greg, I hope I have answered your questions? I can be long winded....Keep Looking Up, Jimmy P.S. If you would like to continue this thread I think you have my e-mail address?
