"TO JIMMY RE: SCOFFING"

Hi Jimmy,

I read your most recent post: http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/nov2012/jimmy1130.htm  In it you say that there is no difference between Israel and the body of Christ.  To this I agree.  But then you write: "They don't realize we are in the Age of Grace (the Body of Christ)...." making the body of Christ and the Age of Grace one and the same.

Question:  Did not God show His grace to every dispensation since Adam:  Before the Law, during the Law, and after the Law (the Gentile Church Age), when He sent His Son to be the atoning sacrifice?  My point to be taken is that we shouldn't make this current dispensation the only Age of Grace.  I believe our current dispensation has been known, since Pentecost, as the Gentile Church Age, which God showed His grace to us by His cross.  And when the Rapture comes scripture clearly shows us that more come to Christ afterward.  Therefore, the Age of Grace begins at Adam and ends when time is no longer then eternity is ushered in!!!

This poses an interesting question:  Since we have history as our guide, every dispensation has had a beginning and an end, which ushered in another dispensation or age. If we can agree that there is a difference between the Age of Grace and the Gentile Church Age, and that the Age of Grace spans the entirety of all souls to be saved from Adam to the end of the Millennium, then what does this say about the dispensation of the Gentile Church Age, as it has a beginning and and end?  The question is:

How will we recognize when the Gentile Church Age comes to an end? I feel I can anticipate your answer, but I'll wait for your reply.  If you would like to continue to dialogue my personal account emial is: prs496092@gmail.com

In Christ,
Greg
