"RE: Chris K: 12.15.12"

Chris,
Thank you for responding. I do not believe that I've taught or preached anything that was contrary to sound doctrine. That said, even here on FiveDoves, there are numerous differences, relating to things like the scriptures, eternal security, pre or post trib blessed hope, full or partial blessed hope, angelic tongue, interpretation of dreams, and many more. So, I certainly do not match up with everyone. However, in churches, I've never taught anything contrary to what that church held. I think what triggered this, was the possibility of the "spiritual nature" as you indicated, however, based on other criteria, like personality quirks, manner of speech or walking, and hints of pride coming through. However, these things could reflective of any number of possible things, or nothing at all.
Perhaps what you said about sensitivity to these things, may weigh heavily. If there is conviction, there may be room for self reflection, in light of the scriptures. After hearing something said, like I did, would there be harm in asking the LORD if I may be a false teacher? Or the potential to become one?
