"Just in the News... "234" ... - amazing 234 timelines"

John, Doves,

how many times we read letters about „our” famous number 234… about that December 23, 1993 Experience … “….Vincent decided to clean his truck a bit before leaving. While doing so, he found some money on the front seat, passenger's side, underneath his glove. The money consisted of two one-dollar bills, a quarter, a nickel, and four pennies -- exactly $2.34!"

Egypt assembly votes on constitution …The Islamist-dominated assembly writing a new Egyptian constitution has adopted the first part of the draft, including a measure keeping sharia, or Islamic law, as the main source of legislation. … "May God bless us on this day," assembly speaker Hossam el-Gheriyani said at the start of Thursday's session.

The assembly is voting on each of 234 articles in the draft constitution. It will then be sent to Mr Morsi for approval. After that, he must put it to a popular referendum…. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-20536323

Calculation B

Dec 23, 1993 until November 13, 2012 = 6900 days …hmm … when 7,000 days?

Dec 23, 1993 until Feb 21, 2013= 7000 days ….Thu, 21 February 2013 = 11th of Adar, 5773 Ta'anit Ester - The Fast of Esther

“If the 13th of Adar falls on Shabbat, the Fast is observed the preceding Thursday which is the eleventh of Adar.”

The Fast of Esther  - Ta'anit Ester / תענית אסתר

The Fast of Esther (Ta'anit Ester, Hebrew: תַּעֲנִית אֶסְתֵּר) is a Jewish fast from dawn until dusk on Purim eve, commemorating the three-day fast observed by the Jewish people in the story of Purim. It is a common misconception that this fast was accepted by the Jews for all future generations during the time of Esther, as it is stated in the Book of Esther: They had established for themselves and their descendants the matters of the fasts and their cry (Esther 9:31). This verse actually refers to the four fasts which relate to mourning for the Temple. Rather, the first mention of this fast is a Minhag that is referenced in the Gaonic period. http://www.hebcal.com/holidays/taanit-esther

The Fast of Esther is observed in commemoration of the Fast observed by Mordechai and Esther and all Israel. On that very day, the enemies of the Jews had planned to subjugate and destroy them. The opposite, however, occurred and the Jews ruled over their enemies….

The Half Shekel

On the 13th of Adar during minchah, it is customary to give three halves of the coin which is the basis of the local currency. The money is given to the poor to do with it as they wish. This contribution is made in memory of the half-shekel given by Israel when the Beit Hamikdash still stood; and whose forthcoming collection was announced on Rosh Chodesh Adar….

Giving of "Half Coins"

In commemoration of the half shekel contributed by each Jew to the Holy Temple -- and which the Talmud credits as having counteracted the 10,000 silver coins Haman gave to King Ahasuerus to obtain the royal decree calling for the extermination of the Jewish people -- it is customary to give three coins in "half denomination" (e.g., the half-dollar coins) to charity on the afternoon of the Fast of Esther. (In many synagogues, plates are set out with silver half-dollars, so that all could purchase them to use in observance of this custom).

Calculation C

Dec 23, 1993 until Feb 21, 2013= 7000 days …hmm … when 7,020 days? ….234 * 30 = 7,020

Dec 23, 1993 until March 13, 2013 = 7020 days …. Wed, 13 March 2013 = 2nd of Nisan, 5773 …

? could it be … the New Moon sighting not before Wed, March 13 … therefore First of Nisan 5773 will be March 13, 2013?

…well, surely…that day and hour knoweth no man…

Matth 24, 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
