What does this mean? Are we to assume presumptuously any oracles of the word of God? Does this also mean assuming something;that for all purposes may be outside the word of God but it sounds right because it lines up with our own understanding? We have to be careful to not boast about anything except in Christ Jesus! The new age movement is inside the Church; mimicking the truths of the Scriptures and twisting them .. now all kinds of new founded revelations come forth. It has weakened the truth and made it more man centered instead of God centered. The premise of being god like is welcomed. After all who wants to be waiting on the Lord? So why not boast we are godlike; with special importance so as to do our own thing. That is what is going on... a new thing; a new objective; we cannot wait for the Lord to return we will build the kingdom here and now. This has happened because the message of the imminent return of Christ is not taught in the huge man made buildings we see today. It would be a bummer if he came back. I have all this stuff that I would not enjoy. I have my whole life in front of me.  My how far we have falling away!! From boasting in God to boasting in ourselves to boasting in our ministries. To making a buck with something given freely.... it is a me love a me me me thing!!!!!! We boast when we can't.    He gave it all away freely and yet we don't.Why do we do this?  We have the word of God isn't that enough? If we would start boasting in him we would see God move in our midst!!!!!! We would see revival. We should be crying out to the Lord to get us ready for his return. but just before his return hopefully he will refresh us. I know many are tired; we wait believing; not seeing ; but standing in faith.  We are all gifts to the body to be poured out as a offering to the holy God of the bible. Let's strive even more to be holy as God is holy; as we see the Daystar arise in our hearts!!! I hope this blesses the body.....
