in looking at the number 1227, it turns out it is related to Cherubim. go here:

Hebrews 9:5 contains the word Cherubim valued at 1227 and Psalm 18:10, which mentions Cherub, has a total verse gematria of 1227. 

on another note, in looking at the NT verses that have 1227 valued words in them, the first three verses directly address the Lord in a series:

Matt 14:8 - His burial 
Luke 3:21 - His baptism
John 6:62 - His ascension 

which seems quite remarkable. 

Jesus is Lord.
