To all the Doves,
No commentary are study with this one. It seems fairly self explanatory. I hope you enjoy and rejoice, for our time is near!
I am the rose of righteousness
and whiteness of the deep
that blossoms in the wilderness
in love God's law may keep
Like trumpets in a briar patch
you are a flower among
amidst the daughters of Zion
my love, you are the one
A fragrant, fruitful tree among
the woods and thorny vine.
and sitting 'neath my lovers shade
delight upon His fruit
He brought me to rejoicing courts
and gave me as a sign
of love and comfort over me
and His protection mine
Support me with your closeness Lord
Comfort me with your death
for I am so worn-out and weak
my love in your absence
His left hand wrapped around my thoughts
His right hand holds my heart
embracing me so tightly that
my love and I are one
I swear by the apple of God's eye,
you freedom loving beasts
Do not seek love before its time,
nor the appointed feast!
And then I heard our one desire
The voice of my beloved.
Behold He comes, a gathering there
removing the little hills
My beloved is glorious,
within His humble strength.
And look, He stands within our house,
and peers between the veil
He shows Himself discreetly there,
then my beloved speaks
and says to me, Rise up my love,
and come away with me!
For look, and see, your winters past.
The rain is over, gone.
Flowers appear upon the earth,
the time of song has come!
The voice of my beloved dove
succeeding in our land.
The fig-tree puts forth ripened figs
vines blooming are at hand.
The ripened vines put forth fragrance,
and tender blossoms may
Arise my love, my beauty fair,
and with me come away!
......This to me is like a rocket ship of hope, with a trajectory straight to Heaven.
much love, your brother, Chris K.
