"BLESSINGS OF THE
COVENANT"
I would like to add this article that I wrote inspired by
God. A revelation that I just got. Thank you Brother
John and all the Doves.
THE BLESSINGS OF THE COVENANT
I am writing here today about the blessing of the covenant that
God provided in the Scriptures and the blessing bestowed on the
sons of various generations showing typology of God's way of
doing things. The blessing specifically going to the younger son
and not to the older son in many cases is a conundrum of sorts.
Many have contemplated and inquired into and quizzically
wondered about this phenomenon. I for years did not understand
this concept or this strange, seeming unequivocal ceremony of a
“knighting” of the younger son and not of the older son myself
also. Until one day when I came across the amazing revelation of
the “crossing of the hands” of the blesser upon the receiver
being that a picture of the CROSS itself. This was God's way of
showing to all that the Cross is the only way that you can
become an inheritor of the covenant of Grace that God has
provided for all people to receive: whether Greek or Jew. All
who call on the name of Jesus will be saved. We are saved by
grace and that not of ourselves (the law), that no man can
boast.
Abraham blessed Jacob instead of Esau when he crossed his hands
and blessed the younger instead of the elder who and which was
entitled to the blessing. Jacob he loved, Esau he hated (loved
less).
Jacob blessed Joseph with the covenant when he gave him the many
colored coat, a blessing that went to the younger son and not to
the elder sons.
Jacob gave the blessing to Ephraim and not Manassah the elder
son when Joseph asked him to bless his sons, but the younger son
to Ephraim instead when he crossed his hands and blessed
Joseph's sons in Egypt.
The crossing of the hands depicts the CROSS. The Cross-- that we
come to God through Salvation in his Son Jesus.
The Elder son is Israel. And the younger son is the Church (the
believers, the ecclesia, the called out ones).
Here is a diagram of the two types revealed. It is a rough
sketch of the two types set out in the scriptures.

Mercy triumphs over judgment.
God's chosen ones are put aside as an adulterous wife and
blindness has happened in part to them, until the fullness of
the Gentiles come in (the church), and then the chosen ones will
see and receive the gift of God. God still loves Esau, He still
has a blessing for him.
