"Psyche-Soul-Butterfly"

The Greek word translated “soul” in the New Testament is “psyche” (or variations of it).  In Greek mythology, the goddess of the soul was Psyche.

The interesting thing is that psyche is also the Greek word for butterfly.

In all the animal kingdom no creature surpasses the butterfly when it comes to the dramatic change that it undergoes.  From a leaf eating, ground crawling, ugly,

hairy caterpillar… into a nectar sipping, high flying, beautiful butterfly.

     A complete physical transformation!

Allasso:  (Strong’s G236) to change, to exchange one thing for another, to

          transform.

Our own change will be even more dramatic than a butterfly’s.  More than a physical change.  We will be transformed totally… our souls…our minds!  Never will

  sin creep in.

You will still be you, though there will be an awesome difference!

You will never grow old.  You will run and not get weary.  You will shine with light and someday you will soar.
