So, I was reviewing some of David Flynn's work on 2012 and came up with some VERY INTERSTING calculations.

I should point out that many of the notes on the internet have his math displayed wrong, so lemme clear that up first.

Nautical Miles - If we subdivide 360 degrees by 60 minutes the earth is 21,600 Nautical Miles in diameter.  (Assuming a perfect sphere.)

Now if we look at Mt. Hermon and Roswell at 33 degrees 33 minutes, that's actually 33.55 degrees.  (33 degrees + 33/60 minutes)

Now if we convert 33.55 degrees to Nautical Miles, we get 2013.0, i.e. Jan 1st 2013.

Working the other way, 2012.9 / 60 = 33.5483333.

So, this is how David came up with his numbers concerning 2012.9 nautical miles and 33 degrees.

Now, for my own discovery!  :-)

In trying to understand how Nautical miles works, I added the circumference of the Earth (24,860 statute miles) to Israel's date of birth, 1947-05-14, I get 2016-06-06. (Note the 6-6-6 pattern.)  Which is 6 days before Shavuot 2016.

Now subtract 1/2 of the 7 year tribulation, 1260 days:

2016-06-06 - 1260 days = 2012-12-24.

What this suggests to me, is that *IF* the rapture begins on 2012-12-22 and lasts for 3 days (sign of Jonah), the tribulation could begin on 2012-12-25.

Recall that 12/25 is not the birth date of Christ, but the rebirth of the sun, by pagans who watched the sun 'die' on the solstice and be reborn 3 days later.  What we call 'Christmas' is really a Pagan holiday.
