Charles, I liked the image that came to mind when I read what you posted about Nicole dragging you along. If disaster is coming, and people are fleeing, you often see that - everyone is trying to get away, but the stronger and faster are helping the weaker and slower, and if one falls, another helps him up again.

Contrast that to being trampled in a stampede when self-centered people want to get to safety at any cost, and don't care who they hurt in the process.

That's what we as believers are to be doing - encouraging and strengthening each other, and preparing and equipping one another to live Godly lives as we wait for our salvation. I want to be one of those who helps my brothers and sisters "get there" instead of leaving them bruised and broken in the dust.
