"Don't give up...2010 is the year of the Rapture!"
Dear Doves,
We have all seen
significant dates come and go over the past several months that seemed
to have a great probability for the rapture. They all had sound
reasoning, backed up by detailed explanation. Yes, there was a degree of
speculation,
but that will always be the case. Most recently, the total lunar
eclipse on the winter solstice December 21st, appeared to have some
significant merits for a rapture date; especially in light of the
dwindling days left in 2010.
Yet, like all other "high alert" days,
it passed without clear cut significance. So what are we to make of the
rest of the month? There are 10 full days left in 2010. Do you really
believe the rapture will occur before Jan.1,2011? It's a fair question
to ask. I'm sure most of us who received a word(me included) that Jesus
would come in 2010 never would have thought it would come down to the
waning days or perhaps even hours of the month of December. So it
becomes natural to doubt. Time is short. We begin to wonder if we
really did hear the voice of God. Ultimately it's all in God's hands
anyway. But lets be realistic, if the rapture doesn't happen this year
we will be left to wonder what was with all these words, visions,
dreams, fleeces, and other various signs. The people who have received
such things are far to numerous to name. And these are ones that have
posted on 5 Doves. How about the other sites? You can exponentially
increase those numbers significantly by people who don't post, blog, or
even tell others what they have seen, heard, felt, etc. They have simply
kept those things in their heart. We would be staggered to know what
those numbers are. So we must conclude, have we heard the voice of God,
been deceived by the Evil One, or through some psychological
subconscious event manufactured such things for reasons unknown?
Now please, if you are one that has received some type of word in a
supernatural fashion that the rapture would occur in 2010, what would
conclude? I'm sure most, if not all of us would say that God spoke to
us. That is reasonable. I will firmly stand on faith that I heard the
voice of God in 2006 tell me that He would return in 2010. As I have
stated before, I heard the word 2010 clearly and unmistakably when I
asked Him when He would return. There is no doubt I heard 2010. If we
are still hear Jan 1,2011 then I will be left with only two other
options from whence came the voice. Either it was the Evil one, or my
subconscious. I will go so far as to say that that will be true for you
as well if you have received a word about 2010. I don't believe God is
into playing games with us regarding such matters. I don't believe in
the "delay" theory as well. To me, that's playing games. Let's
remember, if we asked the Lord for a fish he is not going to give us a
scorpion. No, all who have received such words, stand
strong, resolute, and confident the Lord has spoken. If we are here in
2011, then we will need to sort all this out. But until then, let us
not doubt, fear, reason, or back away from what you received. Was it not
precious? A gift? Did it not lighten your heart and encourage your
faith? Was not hope elevated? No, till the very last second of 2010 we
all have every reason to believe it's true. It will happen. Let's now
rest in that fact.
After I received the word "2010" back
in August of 2006, I only received one confirmation that what I heard
was truly from God. And that was Matt. 25 when I asked if this
was really from God. Of all the scriptures, that is what I got. I
had
no knowledge of what Matt 25 had in it.The confirmation was
immediate. I have asked for confirmations since, but have not gotten
any. God has gently spoken to me, " Steve, I have already told you. You
have no need for any other
confirmation." Yet, on Friday the 17th, I
asked again for a confirmation. Perhaps out of mercy and tenderness,
and the nearness of the hour, I believe He spoke. Here is what has
occurred over the past couple of days:
Question: If you are coming soon(within the year) please confirm it. I was driving to the store about 4:15pm when....
Answer:
Within seconds while driving down the road, to my left, on a church
lawn stood three white angel figures standing about three feet tall
blowing trumpets. I drive by this church frequently, I had not seen
them prior or since I had asked the question.
Answer: The next day, while at a funeral, the pastor read this scripture. I had never heard this read at a funereal:
1 Thessalonians 4
13But
I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which
are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15For
this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive
and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are
asleep.
16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven
with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of
God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17Then we
which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the
clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the
Lord.
18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Answer: Monday evening at a men's ministry meeting I attend this scripture was read:
1 Thessalonians 5
1But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3For
when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh
upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not
escape.
4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
7For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
8But
let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of
faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
9For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
Answer:
After coming home from my men's meeting Monday evening, I asked the
Lord to let me see the full moon in the sky unobscured at 10:30pm
before the eclipse.
I live in the Pacific Northwest. We rarely
have clear winter evenings. It is nearly always cloudy with tons of
rain. Monday was no different. Cloudy and rainy. I remember thinking it
silly to ask such
a confirmation, but I felt like the Lord was
saying," Be Bold, try me." So I asked. Guess what, at 10:30pm there she
was in all her glory, shining brightly. Just before bed at 11:15pm I
went out
again. No moon! Very cloudy, with rain soon after.
So once again Doves, what are we left to think? Believe
See you soon!
Blessings,
Steve W.
