Dear fellow watchmen,
Many times in Scripture, we see prophecy pointing to the sun and moon being darkened. I believe this is pointing to September 2015, when there is a solar eclipse taking place on the Feast of Trumpets and a lunar eclipse (blood moon) taking place on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles. In Matthew 24 Jesus tells us, “AFTER the distress of those days, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light…AT THAT TIME you will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds…” This is talking about Jesus’ Second Coming during the fall feast days when there is a solar and lunar eclipse (this only happens in 2015 and 2034).
But there is ONE TIME in the Scriptures that mention the MOON BEING DARKENED, AND THEN THE SUN. So, first the lunar eclipse, then the solar. It is extremely interesting that on December 21, 2010, the winter solictice, we had a total lunar eclipse (blood moon – the moon will become like blood, BEFORE the great and the terrible day of the Lord comes." Joel 2:31), and on January 4, 2011, just 2 days before Epiphany, we have a solar eclipse. January 4, 2011, is also the NEW MOON, (you cannot see the moon), which means the sun and moon are darkened on the same day. This takes place just 2 days before Epiphany. Could Isaiah 24 be pointing to the Rapture taking place right after a lunar and a solar eclipse? Verse 23 says: The moon will be dismayed, the sun ashamed (lunar eclipse is mentioned first here, unlike all the other passages where it is followed by the solar eclipse); for the LORD Almighty will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and before its elders—with great glory.
Please read the 2 chapters below with my notes in asterisks:
Isaiah 24
The LORD’s Devastation of the Earth
1 See, the LORD is going to lay waste the earth
and devastate it;
he will ruin its face
and scatter its inhabitants—
2 it will be the same
for priest as for people,
for the master as for his servant,
for the mistress as for her servant,
for seller as for buyer,
for borrower as for lender,
for debtor as for creditor.
3 The earth will be completely laid waste
and totally plundered.
The LORD has spoken this word.
*** This shows that whatever takes place affects everyone in the world, rich and poor alike
4 The earth dries up and withers,
the world languishes and withers,
the heavens languish with the earth.
5 The earth is defiled by its people;
they have disobeyed the laws,
violated the statutes
and broken the everlasting covenant.
6 Therefore a curse consumes the earth;
its people must bear their guilt.
Therefore earth’s inhabitants are burned up,
and very few are left.
7 The new wine dries up and the vine withers;
all the merrymakers groan.
8 The joyful timbrels are stilled,
the noise of the revelers has stopped,
the joyful harp is silent.
9 No longer do they drink wine with a song;
the beer is bitter to its drinkers.
10 The ruined city lies desolate;
the entrance to every house is barred.
11 In the streets they cry out for wine;
all joy turns to gloom,
all joyful sounds are banished from the earth.*** Interesting how this could be pointing to Christmas/New Year’s Eve – shortly after the time when everyone is partying and having fun all over the world.
12 The city is left in ruins,
its gate is battered to pieces.
13 So will it be on the earth
and among the nations,
as when an olive tree is beaten,
or as when gleanings are left after the grape harvest.*** Now here below – verses 14 to 16 - we have the Rapture of the Church, while the world is grieving, the Christians are in Heaven having a party:
14 They raise their voices, they shout for joy;
from the west they acclaim the LORD’s majesty.
15 Therefore in the east give glory to the LORD;
exalt the name of the LORD, the God of Israel,
in the islands of the sea.
16 From the ends of the earth we hear singing:
“Glory to the Righteous One.”*** So, the Christians are rejoicing, but let’s go back to what is happening on the Earth:
But I said, “I waste away, I waste away!
Woe to me!
The treacherous betray!
With treachery the treacherous betray!”
17 Terror and pit and SNARE AWAITS YOU,
PEOPLE OF THE EARTH.18 Whoever flees at the sound of terror
will fall into a pit;
whoever climbs out of the pit
will be caught in a SNARE.*** Luke 21:34—36 34And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares..
35 FOR AS A SNARE shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to ESCAPE (Rapture, the Great Deliverance) all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
The floodgates of the heavens are opened,
the foundations of the earth shake.
19 The earth is broken up,
the earth is split asunder,
the earth is violently shaken.
20 The earth reels like a drunkard,
it sways like a hut in the wind;
so heavy upon it is the guilt of its rebellion
that it falls—never to rise again.21 In that day the LORD will punish
the powers in the heavens above
and the kings on the earth below.
22 They will be herded together
like prisoners bound in a dungeon;
they will be shut up in prison
and be punished[a] after many days.*** Sounds like the leaders of the world are hiding underground in their bunkers and shelters. Dungeons are underground.
23 The moon will be dismayed,
the sun ashamed;
for the LORD Almighty will reign
on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem,
and before its elders—with great glory.
Now, let’s compare Isaiah 24 to Hebrews 12:
Hebrews 12
14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
*** We see the Lord at the Rapture. Only the holy will make the first Rapture of the Church.
15 See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. 16 See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son. 17 Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. Even though he sought the blessing with tears, he could not change what he had done.
The Mountain of Fear and the Mountain of Joy
18 You have not come to a mountain that can be touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom and storm; 19 to a trumpet blast or to such a voice speaking words that those who heard it begged that no further word be spoken to them, 20 because they could not bear what was commanded: “If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned to death.”[c] 21 The sight was so terrifying that Moses said, “I am trembling with fear.”[d]
22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, 23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, (sounds like the Rapture to me!) and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
25 See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? 26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”[e] 27 The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.
*** This passage seems similar to Isaiah 24 where it talks about the Rapture with the Saints rejoicing, a joyful assembly, Mount Zion, the heavenly Jerusalem, the earth shaking…
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”[f]
I believe that the world is about to start shaking as never before and that January 6/7, 2011, will very likely be the Rapture of the Church and the planned Sudden Destruction.
