The big quake in Christchurch was on 4th Sept, 2010.
 
From 9/4/2010 to 12/25/2010 (Christmas) is 112 days or EXACTLY 16 weeks or 4 x 4 weeks or 8 + 8 weeks.
 
112 = (8+8) x 7
