"Re: Wade Balzer-[Revelation2217] Behold He comes in the FOG of Heaven.."

Wade and all the doves,
Absolutely incredible and beautiful to behold. Reminiscent of an acrobat or gymnast that has trained himself to do these unbelievable and amazing feats of coordination and mental dexterity.
However, Scripture tells us in its most straight forward way what the cloud that Christ arrives with is. Since scripture MUST interpret scripture, there really is very little need for these intellectual acrobatics.
  And I'll tell you why!
Simply because it subtracts from the simplicity (that Paul recommends) we have in Christ Jesus.
I'm not saying that any of it is inaccurate or untrue. Because the absolute perfection of God' WORD and creation, weather numerically, prophetically, cryptically, grammatically, historically or any other"ally" is totally(there s another ally) integrated. Since His creation came about by His WORD, what part of that incredible tapestry(or mosaic, I like that word), could not be interrelated?
So, back to what is the cloud that Christ comes in? Another mystery that Paul was to have the honor of revealing to us.

Dude, lets keep it simple for those of us that are numerically challenged, please.

Heb 12:1  Wherefore seeing "we also" are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

But, to understand how this "cloud" really relates to His soon return(other than the fact that Hebrews 11 is a litany of saints submitting to and awaiting His return), you must go back to where this "we also" is pointing and to what it points.... Hebrews 10:37...

Heb 10:37  For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

...is essentially the introduction to the list or"cloud" of witnesses.

Hey man, I'm all about understanding the"Treasures of Darkness" and living behind "the veil", but, until His return we are to submit in simplicity and humility, brokenness and tears, and , if you need to plumb the immense depths of God' WORD and creation in order to validate its veracity, you miss the point of simple faith.

That s what faith is, not needing to prove GOD or His WORD.

In my experience, He will do the proving for you. Nonetheless, keep distracting yourself with those numbers and you'll probably find yourself too busy to be of any real use or help to your brothers and sisters in the Lord.
One little addendum to all this, is that in Heb. 12:1 the whole point of getting to "see" the cloud in the first place is so that Paul can make a recommendation on how to run this race(with patience) against sin, deception and de-legitimization, and that is "lay aside every weight" and that includes the desire to pile drive through GOD' WORD and creation on an intellectual level. Christ' yoke is easy, light not intellectually complex or confusing to the body. It has to be that because most of us are pretty dang simple minded.
And with all that said, I still think its incredibly beautiful to witness the interwoven, inter-relatedness of God' perfect WORD! Numerically and otherwise.
                                                                     your brother, Chris K.
