One way or the other,
they will be increasing their spying on Americans. No
matter how many contracts are cancelled with Flock Safety or
how many of their cameras are vandalized...
Flock Safety is known
for its license plate scanning technology. With
cameras placed on poles all across the U.S. The public
has become aware of the flock cameras and has responded
negatively towards them (vandalism/destruction/removal)
No problem, Flock Safety
is moving on to drones. Over half their business is
drones now.

Moving on from cameras,
Flock Safety can surveil with drones. These "can track
and monitor the general public's every move from the
sky. "The drones are equipped with cameras capable of
reading license plates from up to 2,000 feet away..."
The drones can travel up to 60 mph and up to 400
feet.
Customers for this
technology are police departments and private
companies.
So exactly how helpful
have the cameras been to the police?
"Flock Safety calls
its core system "vehicle fingerprinting" - plate, make,
model, color. Contained and clinical. Except
the ACLU documents that Flock's system also generates heat
maps charting a vehicle's movements across an entire city
over a month. Flock initially denied this feature
existed when questioned by local officials, then admitted
that it was active." This is being called "mass
surveillance without a warrant". And the cameras can
also detect and track people. Seems cities,
communities weren't aware of what all Flock Safety cameras
are capable of doing - according to the ACLU. Also, the
system is easily hacked.

Watching people, tracking
people...the public isn't happy with this. Flock
cameras have been vandalized in 36 plus states. And
some 100 cities have deactivated their cameras or cancelled
their contracts. If it's not helping city law
enforcement...what is its purpose?
This technology can
easily be abused. People can be spied on.
But what will people do
with the Flock drones??
This technology would be
very useful to a bad government, a police state.
