Hello John and Doves,
In this letter I wrote about the
wildfires in the EU. I've includes links to current
wildfires burning in the EU and current wildfires burning
around the world.
I also wrote about the
recent high temperatures in Europe. These recent heat
domes have resulted in higher water temperatures that have
resulted in the shutdown of nuclear reactors. Also,
low river levels have shut down nuclear reactors.
I wrote a bit about the
U.S. - heat domes and drought and the hit on agriculture.
And I wrote about their
predictions for the future - if they are correct - this is
only the beginning!!
The Wildfires in the EU and
Worldwide.:
For comparison, in 2026,
2,943,064 hectares have burned in the U.S. This is
below the 20 year average even.
High Temperatures in Europe:
Today in Europe, August
19, 2026: "approximately 203 million people are
experiencing uncommonly hot temperatures. Temperatures
are approx. +2.7 degrees C warmer than the 1961 - 1990 for
this date.
In 2024, the global
temperature was +1.60 degrees C above average and there were
62,775 heat-related deaths across 32 European countries from
June to Sept 2024.
"Heatwaves
are becoming more frequent and more deadly across
Europe."
According to WHO, "Europe is warming at
roughly twice the global average rate, making it the
fastest-warming continent on Earth.."
Add the river
water levels and water temperatures in Europe -
this has resulted in transporting of goods to
truck/railcar (with already high fuel costs). And
nuclear power plants supplying electricity to the people
have shutdown .
August 13, 2026:
"Romania has shut down
its only nuclear power plant station because of extremely
low water levels in the Danube river caused by prolonged
hot weather affecting much of Europe." This plant
supplies Romania with about 20% of its electricity.
Hungary's nuclear
plant also uses water from the Danube but has not yet shut
down.
The Danube is Europe's
second longest river - the water level has fallen to
"the lowest levels for 30 years in several countries."
The Drought and Heat Dome
in the US:
What's Coming?:
"Extremely hot days are
projected to occur more often. The number of days
above 95 degrees F is expected to increase across the United
States."
"Heat waves are
projected to get worse. Multiday heat waves are
expected to be longer, affect more of the country and become
more severe."
"Warm nights are
expected to become more common." Where night time
temperatures do not drop below 70 degrees F.
This will affect human
health, daily activities, agriculture and the food supply
and infrastructure and transportation systems.
Thoughts:
Are we seeing the
beginning of 'the sun is given power to scorch men'?
Sure looks like the world is moving towards that. Not
enough water, not enough water for agriculture. Not
enough water for cooling nuclear reactors. Heat stress
on the electric grid and people's AC units. Heat
that's oppressing and deadly. Limiting outdoor
activities. The northern hemisphere is moving towards
fall and winter - a reprieve from the heat of 2026.
Will there be enough snow pack to 'fix' the low lakes, dams,
rivers, etc? Or will the drought continue?
Today, August 19 a
friend told me her child was sent home from school at noon
because of the heat. I've heard of 'snow days' but not
'heat days'!
Pray for the peace of
Jerusalem!
Maranatha!
