Gino,  You make some good points!

 

I suppose we could add the Jewish people asking Moses if God would somehow allow for divorce.  It wasn't 'good' for them...but, as you quoted Psalms 106:15:  And He gave them their request, but sent leanness into their soul.

 

The Jewish people petition God for things that really aren't 'good' for them...and then He gives it to them...and it's not good for them.

The Sanhedrin petitioned God about the Messiah...and we know the Antichrist is coming to Jerusalem...hmmm.
