As I see it, we are in the LAST “Generation” that SEES everything happen in the FEET of the Daniel Chapter 2 Image of Nebuchadnezzar's dream.
Considering the fact that an 80yr Generation is – according to Psalms 90:10. The days of our years [are] threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength [they be] fourscore years, yet [is] their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
Its been 80 Years since 1944. We are STILL within the specified time that Yahusha stipulated in Matthew 24:34. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till ALL these things be fulfilled.
In 1944, the 2nd world war was still raging. The Organisation NAMED the UNITED Nations, says it all about the MAKEUP of this FUTURE – ONE World Government (The Beast from the SEA of Humanity) – the ... Multitude that NO MAN could number (Rev.7:9)
The BEAST – UN – is the 4th Beast of Daniel 7 which has 10 HORNS. This is REVEALED in Revelation 13:1. And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and TEN HORNS, and upon his horns TEN CROWNS, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
These 10 HORNS have CROWNS – meaning SOVEREIGNTY – (ROYAL/SOVEREIGN) – these are the TEN Divisions of the "WORLD TRADE Org." which have POWER to DECREE laws.
Revelation17:12. And the ten HORNS which thou sawest are ten KINGS, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive POWER as kings one hour with the beast. ( by having SOVEREIGN Power)
The NEW World ORDER – BEFORE the World Government takes place with 10 CROWNS, is BEFORE the 7 KINGS (G7 Heads) – LOSE their 7 CROWNS – the is depicted in -

The UN. Is a COMMUNIST (RED) dragon (Think China), the UN. Leads the PUSH for WORLD Government via the 7 HEADS of SOVEREIGN Governments – The G7 – are the HEADS.
These G7 introduce ANOTHER Head after the COLD War with USSR. We have now a G8 instead of a G7 which LASTS for 17 Years until Obama convinced the G7 to eject RUSSIA on grounds of CRIMEA being annexed to Russian Territory.

This Transition is REVEALED in Revelation 17:8. I am not taking things out of CONTEXT. Your example above DOES!
I ask you to stay on SUBJECT, so LOOK at BIBLE search for the WORD - “CONTINUE”.
We should REMAIN in the REVELATION of Jesus Christ (Rev.1:1), and NOT to other BOOKS in the BIBLE.
There are ONLY – TWO verses in Jesus' Revelation (Of the END Times Generation) which use that word for someone that will “CONTINUE”.
The “WOMAN” - i.e. Whore (Church) – LOCATED on 7 MOUNTAINS – i.e. ROME – has ALSO 7 KINGS.
