Thank you for reviewing my post of 8/4/24. You posed an interesting question:” Was the title deed never in the devil's hand, in the first place?”  Shortly after reading your post Sunday morning in the eastern U.S., I looked at my mail from Saturday. Incredibly, I received an advertisement from a company called “Home Title Lock”  that sells protection from losing  your home  through title theft, even when you are in possession of your deed. That seemed to point to your question.

       In the U,S, and in most countries, there is a local Government agency that keeps copies of all deeds. I believe that in the U.K. It is called Land Registry, but in the U.S. it is  usually Register or Recorder of Deeds. In any case, I am believing that neither Adam nor Satan had a physical deed, but that God keeps the records of all these in his the heavenly archives.  It seems that He is a meticulous record keeper. 

I am open to other explanations. Thanks again for your input.
