Did I only imagine hearing it, or possibly heard it wrong?

I thought that I had heard that there could be extradition to the UK, from other nations.

That those, whether in the UK, or outside, who say things online, that the UK government deems wrong, could be in trouble.

Not long ago, I was shocked hearing Prince Harry complaining about the 1st amendment of the US constitution (while living here, himself).

Some of those first few amendments are there because of the abuses of one of his royal predecessors, king George.

A number of people on this side of the Atlantic, particularly in the Boston area, said and wrote things that UK government deemed wrong.

Things escalated, and eventually there was bloodshed and war, yet the colonialists won their independence.

Things came to a head, again, in 1812, but the US maintained its independence.

What would Sam Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and George Washington say about people extradited to the UK for trial?

Would the current party that says that it is protecting democracy, go along with this, and let people be extradited?
