You also showed that it was a teaching of early church writers.

Clearly the teaching did not originate with the seventh day adventists.

You also showed that the devil had become the god of this world, and even offering all the kingdoms of this world to Jesus.

And that Jesus did not disagree with the devil's current claim to the kingdoms of this world.

That the dominion had first been given to Adam, but that Adam forfeited the dominion, when he sinned.

I have thought along these lines for quite a while, now, as well.

There is one thing that I can't figure out, regarding the seven sealed scroll as the title deed to the earth.

If the dominion was first Adam's, and then passed to the devil, when was the title deed taken out of the devil's hand?

The seven sealed scroll is seen in heaven in Revelation 5, in the hand of the one sitting on the throne, and then the Lamb takes it.

So, before that is done, when was the title deed taken out of the devil's hand?

If it happened at the crucifixion and resurrection, then it would already have been in the Lamb's hand for 2,000 so far.

It can't be when the devil is kicked out of heaven, as that happens later in the tribulation in Revelation 12.

Was the title deed never in the devil's hand, in the first place?

If the LORD always had the title deed all along, then why would this be said, before the devil is kicked out of heaven in the next chapter?

Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Again, I agree with the 6,000 approach, and the earth's dominion first being Adam's, and then the devil becoming the god of this world, and that Jesus will return and reign over the earth.

I only had trouble figuring out the title deed and the timing of its being taken away from the devil.
