Your post was fascinating. Containing facts that I wasn't aware of. Putting them altogether, as you did, makes for such clarification. Because we are so trusting in the basic goodness of humanity, we didn't realise just how EVIL the leaders/politicians of this world actually are. It has taken us a long time to face the facts. Perhaps because we didn't really want to face the actual facts?
I remember watching the first 'conspiracy theory' programme about 9/11. My first instinct was not to believe a word of it. It was too horrific to contemplate. Of course, as the years went by and the evidence mounted - my trust and innocence was stripped away. In hindsight, the words 'trust and innocence' can now be seen rather as 'ignorance and wilful blindness'. Oy Vey!
