"Donna Danna re the White Horse Rider"

Hi Donna D, John and Doves,

I can see your logic, Donna D. I can understand where you are coming from. However, I disagree. It's not an antagonistic disagreement but it is important. Your letter is linked below. For those interested, I recommend reading Donna D's reply before reading mine. The big difference between Donna D's viewpoint and mine rests upon this: - It's my understanding of scripture that our LORD Jesus has been serving as our living daily sacrifice, in the Temple in heaven, ever since He was sacrificed for our sake. Jesus arrives in the Throne Room of God 'looking like a lamb who has been slain'. He has now left the Temple and arrived in the Throne Room looking bedraggled and wounded. He takes His seat and is handed the scroll of judgement. He is NO LONGER a sacrifice. He is a Warrior King. Jesus is handed the scroll of judgement by He who sits on the right hand side. This is when Jesus is given power and authority from Almighty God.  Please see the 2nd link below for the description of this scene in Revelation 5. It's so beautifully nuanced and powerful. Every word counts.

Continuing from the scene in Revelation 5, Jesus has been made THE KING - THE BOSS of the scroll of judgement. He rides out to CONQUER.  With this, He rides out to conquer the evil ones. The entire purpose of the great tribulation is the great war between good and evil. A bloody and violent war. Without LORD Jesus fighting this on earth - WITH the people - there would be no winning this war. The physical presence of Jesus, on the earth during the great tribulation, is vital.  He would not leave the left-behinder's without defence - without His presence. After all - satan is now thrown to earth and is wreaking havoc. Would our loving LORD allow satan to wield his power upon helpless humans, without our LORD Jesus?  I believe not.

Our LORD Jesus rides out to conquer evil. This is the great tribulation of 3.5 years. The 3.5 years that LORD Jesus did not complete as He was cut off in the middle. He is coming back to complete the final 3.5 years of the 7 He was given -  and to be TRIUMPHANT. The Revelation 19: 11-12 scripture you referenced shows Jesus' triumph over the evil ones. It is THEN that He is given ALL the other crowns. KING OF KINGS and LORD of LORDS.  This cements my belief that it is the arrival of our LORD Jesus upon the earth, that causes all the warring nations to unite and attack Israel (Jerusalem) en masse. It is LORD Jesus who kills Gog and gives him a grave in Israel. Recall that all the leaders and rulers make a mad dash for their underground caves and bunkers when LORD Jesus is seen coming in the sky? They know that they are in for destruction but are planning to fight to the bitter end. The caves and bunkers protect their physical lives for a short time. Scripture does not say that these evil ones are killed straight away, with the arrival of Jesus. They live to  fight the final fight.

When the Psalm 83 war breaks out and Israel comes under severe attack, our precious LORD Jesus becomes a warrior instead of a sacrifice. And also what Craig Opal said. See the link to Craig's letter below:-
