So in light of my “Last sign” article from a few weeks ago, I just wanted to put a little more meat on the bones. Since then it has been reported that the hottest day ever recorded was just on July 22, 2024, according to NASA. 

“July 22, 2024, was the hottest day on record, according to a NASA analysis of global daily temperature data. July 21 and 23 of this year also exceeded the previous daily record, set in July 2023.”

Why is this important? Well in light of what Revelation 7:14 says and what we will be escaping.

……"These are the people who have come out of the great distress……(to note here, it does not say we go through the great distress, tribulation, but come OUT of it. Since the 6th seal is the beginning of the wrath, you will note this in Revelation 6:16-17. Remember the 6th seal is a massive and miraculous and yes terrifying event the likes of the world has never seen before and never will again.)

…….Those people(us),will never be hungry again, and they will never be thirsty again. The sun will not hurt them, and no heat will burn them, 17 because the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd……

It appears to me here, that it’s a good guess that we will be raptured in the summer time because of the heat we will be avoiding. 

The reason I’m shining the light on the heat portion of this scripture, is because of this recent uptick in not only global temp, but even local. You folks can chime in on this, but I know here in the northeastern US, it’s been crazy hot and humid even before the summer started.

In fact on June 18th, I remember being in York Maine on the beach and it was over 90 degrees and very high humidity, making it feel much more uncomfortable. That day they commented that it had never been that hot, that early in the season and in fact, it rarely gets over 90 even in the middle of the summer in York Maine. 

I also remember wondering if that meant it might be an unusually hot summer, and here we are 6 weeks later realizing it’s been exactly that. 

Then the Holy Spirit reminded me of Revelation 7:14 and what the Raptured  multitude that comes out at the beginning of the distress is delivered from. Not only are they (we), won’t be hungry or thirsty, ever again, but we specifically will never feel the heat of the sun, or any other heat ever again. 

But you might never notice oppressive heat, if you live in areas that normally don’t get hot. You might not notice an occasional hot day, but you would certainly notice a hot month or longer for sure. 

We all know what it is to be hungry and thirsty at times and we know for some this can be more of a constant, though the rich may never experience hunger or thirst. But it appears that everyone in this Raptured world wide multitude may experience heat of some kind. Humidity also plays into temps and can make it feel much hotter than it is on the dial.

It  appears Jesus has inched out even further on the doorstep. Of course always remembering what the backdrop of this time is Matthew 24, Luke 21 and the soon to be fulfilled Luke 17, where we see one will be taken and the other left. As well as the war in Israel about to expand to 2 -3 fronts.
